Resting 101 (Sound Included)
Many women have such a hard time wrapping their minds around the importance of rest…. As a single child free by choice woman I see so many women constantly working, moving, having a busy schedule. Just pretty much always on the go. Always planning, Always taking care of others. Always in nurturing mode 24/7. That was never the type of life I wanted to live. I knew very early on… I never wanted the hustling, fast paced non-stop life. I never wanted to have a bunch of children to tend after, or a lot of responsibilities outside of myself…. I just never envisioned it for myself to keep my mind, body and spirit active, I have many other things to fill that space with for now I’ll say because I never say never per say. But I always knew I wanted a gentle, slow life.

Many women feel much guilt around saying this, and I do not.
All women are not the same, All women do not have to boxed in, in life, and All women do not have the same desires in life. I won’t subject myself to not speaking about or showing my desires, and what my messages are built around. As a childfree — single woman in her 30′s I take great pleasure in educating women on the importance of rest and relaxation. Regardless to whether or not a woman has a full plate, or a light load. REST is a non negotiable. The human body… especially the female body was designed to REST, RECOVER and RELAX. There are so many moving parts to a woman’s body and rest is more than laying around and sleeping. (Which I love sleeping and napping) but REST is about balancing the mind, body and spirit. You cannot be balanced constantly moving. As a healthcare professional of 10 years I will tell you, that your body will be stuck in flight or fight mode if you are constantly on the go. The mind was not designed to be constantly thinking, stressing, or wandering. Once you master this, you master yourself. I enjoy reading, learning and exploring and apart of that is tied to me resting endlessly once my work is over. Outside of talking about my desires and my own inner dialogue I wanted to share the importance of a woman resting/nesting and becoming one with her inner self.

Hormonal Balance: Rest helps regulate hormones like cortisol and estrogen, which affect mood, metabolism, and reproductive health. Without enough rest, these can get out of sync, leading to fatigue, irritability, and burnout.
TOP SPRAY TO PROMOTE REST (This is very potent and I use it nightly)
Muscle Recovery & Fat Loss: Especially for women who train, rest is when the body repairs muscle tissue and burns fat efficiently. Overtraining without adequate rest can actually stall progress and increase the risk of injury.
Mental Clarity & Emotional Resilience: Quality rest resets the nervous system, sharpens focus, and builds emotional strengthโmaking it easier to manage stress, set boundaries, and move through life with confidence and grace.

I could go on.. and on about this topic regarding women and the importance of slowing down, being intentional, and getting quality rest especially as a woman ages, and I will…. but this is a start. This is not a social media trend, “Soft gentle living” for women is not an aesthetic, it’s a way of living. It’s a way of life. It’s the way to promote internal healing, health and longevity.
