5 ways to stop obsessing over your life!

Photo captured in 2019: Nestled inside of my beautiful apartment, I was really inspired by photos I think from the 50’s.

I’m learning over the years that overthinking everything is just, pointless. It gets you nowhere and doesn’t serve you or anyone around you. I use to overthink everything, and it really would mess with the health of my mental space. I could very easily go from being in the best mood of my life”,” to feeling like the world was about to come crumbling down if I didn’t do everything perfect! I want to help you”…. because” 饾捑饾搲’饾搱 饾搲饾捑饾搨饾憭 饾搲饾憸 饾挿饾搰饾憭饾挾饾搲饾捊饾憭 饾挾饾憯饾挾饾捑饾搩.

  1. 路聽 饾悡饾惈饾惍饾惉饾惌 饾悊饾惃饾悵 – It comes down to putting all your trust into God. We say we believe him”,” and will trust him to carry the load of our life”. But” we simply don’t. I was raised up in church, and yet I still never fully put my trust in Jesus if I’m being honest. It was easier to try to control my own life”,” and the direction it would go in… “then” to put my trust into someone I couldn’t see”,” or physically touch…. until it wasn’t.(1 Peter 5:7)

2. 路聽饾悑饾悶饾惌 饾悽饾惌 饾悹饾惃 – Let it go for real this time…. it’s so easy to keep replaying something over and over in your mind. I learned that talking to myself & telling myself to let it go just wasn’t working for me. Someone can say something to me, and I use to hold on to that thing…tight! I use to let it marinate in my spirit…… now? No words, or actions from other people have a direct effect on me. Once I identified that they were the problem, they weren’t happy with who they were potentially, and they may be living a life full of regrets, it’s just never personal. It became much easier to put it down. You have to realize that some people are just simply miserable,

3.饾悂饾悶 饾惄饾惍饾惈饾惄饾惃饾惉饾悶饾悷饾惍饾惀 – Once you start living your life with true intent… a true meaning, you won’t be so obsessed with what’s next?” the obsession for always looking for the next thing will naturally disappear… I notice when I’m not in alignment with my purpose or doing something I’m passionate about I’m trying to fill the void with something… literally anything to make me feel complete. It can be something as simple as over shopping (Which with no purpose isn’t healthy) Find something you’re passionate about, something you look forward to everyday. (It can be the gym, eating healthy, writing, painting…. to name a few. It has to be custom to YOU, don’t try to do what you see someone else doing and enjoying. 饾悩饾惃饾惍 饾惏饾悶饾惈饾悶 饾惁饾悮饾悵饾悶 饾惍饾惂饾悽饾惇饾惍饾悶, 饾悰饾悶 饾惍饾惂饾悽饾惇饾惍饾悶 don’t overthink your purpose, or passion just find and do what makes you strive, smile, feel content, and you can get lost in time with. It’s not that deep.

4. 饾悂饾悶饾惀饾悽饾悶饾惎饾悶 饾悽饾惌 饾惏饾悽饾惀饾惀 饾悰饾悶 饾悗饾悐饾悁饾悩-You really have to believe it though… you have to live a confident life on purpose. Obsessing over life, will literally get you know where. You can control everything inside your life, but you can’t control life itself. So just put it down…. Focus on your daily habits, mindset and the way you treat other people. Everything else will fall into place. Be confident that everything will be OKAY, and move on.

5. 饾悇饾惂饾悾饾惃饾惒 饾惌饾悺饾悶 饾惀饾悽饾惌饾惌饾惀饾悶 饾惌饾悺饾悽饾惂饾悹饾惉- When you start appreciating the small things in life, you’ll have NO room to even magnify the big stuff because you’ll be too busy finding the beauty in the small things in life. Everyday I wake up I find a few things in my mind and atmosphere to appreciate…. it’s become so natural to me that without even noticing I’m obsessing over how beautiful the birds are outside, the color of the sky at any given moment….the beauty in the trees (like, I always notice how fast they change colors, it’s truly intriguing) the frequency of the wind on my skin and I am constantly in a state of gratitude for these things. When you’re focusing on how God really created all these things… these small things, that serve a big purpose you’ll become so consumed subconsciously thanking God for all things, that you will literally have no time to become obsessive about your own life anymore. Maturing is realizing that when God says he wants worship and praise in all things everyday and from everything including YOU, you’ll realize you kind of don’t have the time to obsess over your own life when you’re created to praise something much bigger than yourself every-single-day.
