3 Reasons I Started Testosterone as a woman!
So this will just be a short open letter and I want to keep this updated with honesty and my decision to start Hormone Therapy. (In the bottom I did include my lab work) and always like to be open with women who follow me and tell them. Beauty starts within… Being in healthcare for 10 years and working alongside doctors for 8 of those years I can tell you.. MANY women have no clue all the internal factors that go into feeling amazing, optimal, having nice plump skin, energy, and even having a normal libido!!! I always would hear patients complain over the years of these things and see lab work that were in such critcial red zones, and many times all women want to focus on is external QUICK beauty. I cannot live that way. If I don’t feel good internally there is no amount f outer beauty I can achieve and actually enjoy. I have always been beautiful, but whenever my labs were trash I felt horrible inside (brain fog, extreme fatigue, mood was more low and depressed because I was so tired all the time! even after 8 hours of sleep) when I got my Vitamin D3 levels up from a 6 in 2020 to now a 45 in 2025 with oral protocol (Which I just got 50,000 iU injections) so I will be starting to inject soon to be closer to 100 for optimal living!!!) anyways… I want to always be transparent with thing that I do internally because I am all about the TOTAL body of the woman being well… The brain, blood, heart and then the external beauty follows.

SIGNS OF LOW TESTOSONE IN WOMEN
Extreme fatigue โ like, bone-tired for no reason. Even after sleeping 8 hours you can still feel like you didn’t even sleep!
Low mood / mild depression โ not full-blown sadness, but this โblahโ feeling I couldnโt shake on and off throughout the years. This is a common indicator for women.
Zero motivation โ Not having a desire suddenly to do the things you use to enjoy the most! (No desire to get out of the bed) your body is just trying to sleep!
Brain fog โ forgetfulness, trouble focusing, feeling mentally checked out.
Low libido โ no desire, no drive, just โmeh.โ feeling. Many women will have a low sex drive, no desire for intimacy or romance!
Weight gain or stubborn weight โ even with healthy eating, my body felt stuck at some points. Even though I lost the weight I blew up with in my late 20’s… still! This is why many women cannot lose weight
Mood swings โ snapping one minute, crying the next. I felt emotionally out of sync at times too. I do enjoy crying at times lol, but many times I couldn’t even produce normal emotion either. So that was interesting, but many women will have extreme hormone fluctuations.
Loss of muscle tone or strength โ Workouts will feel harder and you cannot build or maintain proper muscle mass.
Feeling unlike yourself โ that gut feeling that something deeper was is off. You know that feeling… you just know something is “Off”
MANY WOMEN INCLUDING MANY OF THE WOMEN I COME INTO CONTACT WITH HAVE NEVER EVEN HAD VITAL BLOOD LABS DRAWN… THEY THINK THEY WILL JUST FIX UP THE OUTSIDE BUT NO TRUE KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR BASE LEVELS. THIS CAN BE VERY FATAL. THEY SHRUG IT OFF AND SAY… “WELL MY VITAMIN D WAS LOW” IN MY MIND I SAY…. IF ONLY THEY KNEW WHAT THAT REALLY MEANS FOR THEM. LIVING IN TRUE DOOM (i CALL THEM THE WALKING DEAD) ๐

So yes… I finally did my 1st lab panel at 31 to check my hormones out. Considering I am now in the functional women’s weightless and holistic health space working now I decided well since I’m here I might as well check mine out. I was really curious and when my panel came back all of my numbers looked great except my testosterone, which made sense as I started putting the symptoms of low testosterone for women together. My levels were 35! Which for optimal living it’s recommended for women to be closer to 100 in levels according to the PA I talked too and also just me knowing the same is for Vitamin D levels. 50-70 to be optimal. So I quickly took the medical advice I was given, because I have done so much internal work… any lab value numbers that are out of wack I add and am very comfortable adding this hormone therapy to boost me up quickly!
The protocol I’m on now is 1 injection every 4 weeks... and this is a life long thing for all of your hormones, minerals, vitamins etc to stay optimal, but I will more than likely do others things to naturally boost my levels up! I did my 1st injection last night before bed and am excited to keep checking back here with updates for my viewers and myself. So my 1st injection was 04/25/2025 !!! I’m excited to track and share any changes I feel. Many patients have reported feeling amazing right after giving their body what it has been missing.

How I feel since injections
Today is day 1 since injecting last night… 04/25/2025 I did my first injection at home and I don’t feel any different I look forward to a ton of energy, even though I already feel electric haha! I’m excited and happy I started this therapy. I read when your body is balanced your voice can even change. Like deeper in tone or the real pitch. That to me is so cool! I’ll be doing 1 shot every 4 weeks so if any major changes I’ll update here. If not see ya in August for a 4 month blood panel recheck!!!
